We're in this together
You're gonna love this...
David and his men returned home to Ziklag and found their town had been ransacked, their wives and children kidnapped and their homes burned. He and his men were so overwhelmed in sorrow that Unbelievable sorrow filled their soul!
When they regained their composure, they sought the Lord, and He said to pursue the invading army. So they did. 600 warriors continued their journey to find their families, but 200 of them were so weary from the journey that they stayed behind at a brook and guarded the army supplies while the other 400 continued on. Along the way, they found one of the men who had burned their town. He had been left to die of a sickness. But David gave him food, and found out from him where the enemy was hiding.
Long story short, David and his men recovered all their family members and spoil. Everyone was happy. ALL had been recovered.
But the 400 men who participated in their rescue did not want to share the spoils with the 200 that had stayed behind with the supplies. They reasoned that the spoils should only go to those who risked their lives. But David saw it differently. Listen...
I Samuel 30:24
David was saying that everyone is part of our team. We ALL participate together to bring glory to God.
Sometimes we think that only those that 'GO' to the mission field are blessed. But God's word tells us that those who 'SEND' or "STAY BY THE SUPPLIES" are also included in the rewards to follow. Your prayers and support are noticed in heaven! THANKS for letting us be on your team... together we will reap a great harvest!
Please pray for us as we represent you in India!

Thoughts about a New Year
2008 HARVEST?
“I do not pray for these (disciples) alone, but also for those who will believe in me through their word” John 17:20.
Jesus is not only praying for you today, but for those who are yet to surrender to His love in 2008. He is interceding for the future. He has not stopped believing for your neighbor, your relatives, your city and your world.
Sometimes I grow tired and discouraged praying for unsaved loved ones. But He doesn’t. I never grow weary of praying for MY needs. Our human nature always looks out for number one. But thankfully, God is still longing for ALL humanity to bow their knees before Him.
How will it happen? Isn’t America’s heart too hardened? Isn’t the church mostly sleeping?
God tells us how it will happen... through YOU. Yes, He is praying “for those who will believe in Me through THEIR word” verse 20.
Here’s what will make the difference:
- Acts of love shown selflessly
- Displaying forgiveness
- Telling your testimony of how Christ has changed your life
- Praying in faith without stopping
- Daily looking for opportunities to be His witness
Will you join me in this prayer for the new year?
“Dear Lord, Your patience with us and our world is immense. Please forgive us for straying from you, from losing our first love, and from ignoring the unsaved all around us. Please light Your fire again in my heart. Use ME this year... this month... today, to both show and tell of Your great love. My mouth belongs to You.... fill it with words that will invite people to know You. Thank You for Your mercy towards me. Amen.”
Have a fruitful new year!
Intentional for souls,
